5 Wirral Instagrammers We Love

Undoubtedly this post will become a series, because we’re very lucky on the Mersey Estuary to be home to a veritable tribe of amazing content creators. We love following these influencers on social media and on their own websites, they’re constantly on the ball with recommending the best places to eat, best places to visit, and new experiences on the Wirral peninsula.

Make sure to use the links we’ve provided to give these creators your support, they’ll reward you with fantastic content and an Instagram feed you can while away your hours of #SelfIsolation browsing.

Any proud inhabitant of the Wirral knows we live in one of the most photogenic counties in Britain, whether it’s a beautiful sunset over West Kirby beach or a view of the sparkling Liverpool waterfront, it’s a feast for the eyes no matter where you look. RealWirral gets to the heart of the community and digs out all the hidden gems to show off. It’s a great feed to browse if you want to find a cosy cafe, a unique little boutique or a taste of the Wirral’s intriguing history.

Visit Wirral is the official tourism site for the Wirral peninsula, and as such is one of the most knowledgeable accounts on the subject. They create their own content, but also share content created on the #VisitWirral tag, such as beautiful shots from local photographers, and some seriously delicious foodie photos.

Although some may scoff as they watch an Instagrammers take photos of their food, we believe no one can deny that they love looking at the results. Are we alone? We could easily while away a few hours dreaming about the delicious meals Eat Wirral features, because there’s no calories in just looking.

Find your next must-visit restaurant, cafe or bakery on the Wirral here, and promise us you’ll share the results.

With such gorgeous scenery, it’s no surprise the Wirral has been an incubator for photographic talent. One of our favourite independent photographers to follow is Jamie Does Photos, who brings a distinct atmospheric energy to his captures of local landmarks you already know and love.
